Intec has announced that Claro, the third largest mobile operator in Brazil, has selected Intec to replace its existing mediation systems for both its traditional and next-generation networks, including GSM, GPRS and TDMA.
Intec’s convergent mediation solution will solely process all call detail records (CDRs) for Claro’s 21 million plus customer base. Benchmarked to process more than 12.8 billion event detail records per day and currently processing more than 1.3 billion records per day for its largest customer, Intec Mediation will easily scale to meet Claro’s needs as it continues to grow its customer base.
