THE OPPORTUNITY…

• A career as a Software Engineer in the Research and Development group will provide you with the opportunity to be involved with all aspects of the software development lifecycle. The responsibilities include:
• Conducting design, coding and unit testing activities
• Performing analysis of business requirements and deliver Product Requirements Specifications
• Supporting customer production installations and Professional Services customer implementations through software maintenance activities
• Undertaking Functional and Performance testing
• Complying with quality assurance processes.

YOU WILL NEED…

• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or equivalent
• The ability to assimilate knowledge of complex systems
• Analytical problem-solving skills required for developing design solutions or identifying obscure problems
• An understanding of the relevant technology areas: Unix, C/C++, Perl, Java, SQL, Relational Database (Oracle)
• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and software design techniques
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
