You will be working in project teams, determining functional requirements, writing technical specifications, and implementing requirements in Inter-mediatE’s proprietary language GDC (Generalised Data Conversion) and an open source object-oriented programming language, Python. There will be direct customer contact in the specification, implementation, and testing phases of the project. You will also be required to lead a team of junior software developers while working with project teams located in other Intec offices within the Asia Pacific region.
You will be responsible for:

Perform requirement analysis and gathering. Writing functional requirement specification.

Perform system design based on functional requirements.

Writing technical specifications from requirements. Specifications describe detailed business process flow and logic.

Developing code necessary to implement feature requirements.
-
Communicating with project managers/team leaders any problems or delays in development of project requirements and adhering to Intec project implementation standards.

Providing regular project status updates to the group manager.
-
Participate in 2nd level support.
-
Participate in partner training. Technical presentations and hands on exercises for customers.

Perform duties at customer’s site.
We are looking for:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

3-5 years + programming experience using C/C++ in a UNIX environment combined with excellent technical knowledge in software development methodologies and design.

Knowledge of networking protocols.

Knowledge of Oracle Databases and SQL is advantageous.

Knowledge of Client/Server systems.

Knowledge of distributed, fault tolerant systems.

Working knowledge of telephony billing records is highly desirable.

Knowledge of Telephony and Telephony OSS/BSS systems.

Excellent awareness of business issues as they impact overall project plans.
