Senior Developer

Key Functions and Responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision, develop/configure solutions on the Singl.eView platform as per the requirement specifications, ensuring prompt delivery of the solution with quality.
• Write the functional specifications for components of the project. Proactively contribute in all stages of the project life cycle including design, implementation and support.
• Work effectively with the team to ensure end-to-end functionality of software is delivered with quality, to meet customer commitments.
• Develop a complete understanding of the customers’ needs.
• Identify, diagnose and resolve problems of various degrees of complexities.
• Utilize technical competency and leadership skills in contributing to the overall customer solution.

Requirements:

• Min 4 yrs of software development experience.
• Strong Computer Science and programming fundamentals (Algorithms, data structures, programming languages, databases, scripting, OS fundamentals, State Machines, SDLC, middleware, etc.)
• Proficiency in C/C++, UNIX shell-scripting, Perl, Oracle & SQL with a broad understanding of UNIX operating environment.
• Telecom Billing work experience is a must. (Singl.eView knowledge/experience would be a plus)
• Knowledge/Experience of Tuxedo would be a plus.
• Experience in performance tuning of UNIX and/or Oracle would be a plus.
• Proven track record of working effectively in teams. Should be proactive and willing to take initiative.
• Excellent communication skills (Verbal / Written) and reporting/presentation skills.
• Strong Analytical and Problem Solving skills.
• Professional maturity / conduct and adherence to corporate ethics.
• Candidates with BE / Btech / Mtech / MSc in comp / MCA from well known institutes will be preferred.
