October 14, 2005 – Intec, a leading OSS/BSS software vendor for fixed, mobile and next-generation networks, announced today the implementation of its InterconnecT CABS CG™ in an ASP model for US-based Cox Communications. Cox selected Intec as a cost-effective and flexible billing solution.
Ron Whited, executive director, MIS - Telephony OSS at Cox Communications, said, “With the tightening margins in intercarrier access settlement, Cox desired to minimize its costs involved with CABS processing and found that Intec offers a variety of cost-effective business models for the deployment of its CABS solution.
